How it all links

From the site to payment without retyping. The site diary and the measurements make the claim, the claim gets its payment schedule, the schedule leads to payment and retention, and all of it feeds the registers and the reports. One project file carries it from tool to tool, and every record has an ID.

Each box opens its tool. The roles under each step are the people who usually work there. The project file joins them, and the reports read from it.

Before the project

Step by step

  1. Site diary and measurement

The site manager or foreman keeps the diary: labour, plant, work done by item, delays, instructions, visitors, photos. Engineers measure each item and name the diary entry behind it. Progress sheet · Diary

  2. The claim

The progress sheet turns the measurements into claim lines, each with its item and measurement IDs. The claim builder makes the claim with Form 1 attached. Claim builder · Deadline checker

  3. The payment schedule

The payer checks the claim against section 20, works out the serve-by date, and answers with a schedule that has every section 21 item. Received-claim check · Schedule builder

  4. Payment and retention

Payments and retention go into the project file against the claim they belong to, with the date of each retention report. Retention calculator · Payments

  5. Registers and reports

Every sheet of the project workbook takes its tool's CSV. The reports read the project file and list the gaps. Project workbook · Reports
