Your project file

One file for the whole project team, kept on your own device. Start one here, or load yours, and add the site diary, variations, RFIs, orders, transmittals, schedules, payments and retention. Every tool loads it, adds to it and saves it back, so nothing is typed twice.

On your device only. Information, not legal advice. The file is made and read in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us or stored, and there are no cookies. It's saved where you choose, like any other document. Back it up, and share it the way you share your other project documents.

The project

The records

Choose what to add. Every record gets an ID (D-001, V01, RFI-001, PO-001, TR-001 ...), and records point at each other by ID, so a report can trace every figure back to where it came from.

Read in your browser and never sent. It replaces the programme's activities; links to contract items are kept for activities with the same ID.

Contract items and measurements: the progress measurement sheet. Claims: the progress sheet, the claim builder or the deadline checker. Payment schedules: the schedule builder. They're all here too.

Your project workbook

The master workbook with every record in this file already in it: all twelve sheets, their formula columns and the summary. The blank project workbook (Excel) is still there if you'd rather start empty.

Export a sheet for the project workbook

Each CSV has the input columns of its sheet in the free project workbook (Excel). Paste it at cell A5 of that sheet and the formula columns and the summary do the rest. Text that starts like a formula is made safe before it's saved.

From the site diary and the measurements to the claim, the payment schedule, payment and retention, and the reports, with each role shown where it touches the flow.

About the file (checked 1 Nov 2026)

  • A JSON file, version 1. When it's loaded, it's checked: the right kind of file, a version these tools can read, every record with its own ID, dates as dates and amounts as numbers. An ID that points at a record the file doesn't hold is listed for you to check.
  • Nothing in the file is sent anywhere. Each page is locked so it can't make a network request.
